The Heritage Centre Association, with downtown merchants, is hosting their second annual auction to benefit Food For The Hungry. While you are downtown welcoming in the Christmas Season, look for baskets in many shops. Participating businesses will have their basket or auction items on display beginning Monday, November 21. Each shop or business will continue accepting silent bids during the Christmas Walk and through Friday, December 2. The highest silent bids then will become the starting bids at the Gala Dinner Auction hosted by Kenyon College on Saturday, December 3. See photos and descriptions.

The annual Food For The Hungry Fredericktown Charity Auction will take place again this year during the Fredericktown Christmas Walk on December 4 at 1 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center at 2 East Sandusky Street. It's time to search your home for antiques and collectibles to donate. Donations can be dropped off at the Fredericktown Village Office or at the auction site from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday December 3. All proceeds will go to the Fredericktown Interchurch and Salvation Army.

In support of the Food For The Hungry in our community, the Knox County Career Center is proud to announce their Second Annual Auction of Goods and Services!  The Career Tech Labs will offer services and some products from the Building Trades, Business and Finance Academy, Chef and Catering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Horticulture and Residential Construction and Remodeling labs.  This auction is initially taking place on-line, and will be linked to the Knox County Career Center, WNZR, 13WMVO and the Food For The Hungry Websites.  The highest bids received will then start the silent auction on Saturday, December 3 at the Food For The Hungry Community Gala Dinner and Auction hosted by Kenyon College.
