By the end of 2008, Interchurch Social Services and The Salvation Army had fullfilled over 12,000 requests from families throughout Knox County, helping them to meet basic necessities during times of crisis.
This support helps families get back on their feet, back on track and back into the workforce.

100% of all food and funds generated by Food For The Hungry goes to support the efforts of these two agencies. Here's how to contact them:

Interchurch Social Services: Joy Harris 397-4801

Furthermore, food and funds generated by a community stay in that community. Fredericktown donations go to assist families and individuals in Fredericktown. Danville donations are used to help Danville, and so it is for Centerburg and Mount Vernon. Centerburg includes both Centerburg and Mount Liberty. Danville includes Amity, Bladensburg, Brinkhaven, Danville, East Knox, Howard, Martinsburg and Millwood. Mount Vernon includes Gambier and Mount Vernon.

All donations benefit the quality of life in Knox County.
