The Knox County Career Center annual auction of goods and services is going on NOW! The Knox County Career Center supports Food For The Hungry and is proud to announce their 9th Annual Auction of Goods and Services! The Career Tech Labs will offer services and products from the Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Business and Finance Academy, Chef and Catering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Cosmetology, Horticulture, Information Technology, Massage Therapy, Metal Fabrication, Residential Construction and Remodeling labs.
The 8th Annual Snowflake Gala to benefit Food for the Hungry returns on Friday, December 7th in the Athletic Center at Kenyon College. Enjoy dinner prepared by the talented chefs of AVI Food Systems. This year’s dinner will feature a buffet of locally sourced foods, with both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options. Reservations accepted NO LATER than Friday, November 23rd.
This year's gala will honor the Brenneman Family with the William A. Stroud Award for Public Service. The Brenneman Family members are true Knox County philanthropists who have given hundreds of volunteer hours for many outstanding non-profit organizations, including Food For The Hungry. Chairpersons for the event are long-time Food for the Hungry supporters Pat and Mark Bennett.
