Tanner's Story
Tanner Cooper-Risser, a longtime Knox County resident, was named the organization’s Annual Drive and Community Relations Director in July 2026 by the FFTH board.
Cooper-Risser, who worked for the OSU Extension Office for over nine years, is no stranger to the Knox County food pantries and hot meal programs. He exhibits a strong background in volunteer coordination and community outreach. “Perhaps these qualities were what stood out most to our selection team,” commented Lisa Lloyd, FFTH’s Board Vice President and lead for the transition process.
After receiving the news of being selected and affirmed as the FFTH Annual Drive and Community Relations Director, Cooper-Risser was asked if he wanted to convey anything with his acceptance of the position. He responded, “I have volunteered with Food For The Hungry in the past and helped develop and promote the Healthy Food Donation Guidelines that FFTH and the Knox County Health Department use, so I am familiar with the organization. I am beyond honored to get to continue building on the incredible work that my predecessors have done in this role. I am a firm believer that everyone should have access to healthy food for themselves and their families, and I believe Food For The Hungry does an excellent job at working to help that be a reality in our county.”
Cooper-Risser is a 2015 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University and lives in Mount Vernon with his wife and three young children.
Cooper-Risser is the fifth person to serve as executive director of FFTH. His predecessors include Kathy Brechler, Lisa Mazzari, Sandy Rhoton, and Micah Rubenstein.
Digital Content & Marketing Director
Olivia Greenich Stern
Olivia's Story
Olivia Greenich Stern was hired as the Marketing Director for Food For The Hungry at the height of the 2022 Drive Season. Since joining the FFTH team, Olivia has maintained the photographing and marketing of all FFTH events and initiatives and does graphic design and marketing material development for FFTH.
In 2023, Olivia implemented an online Cloud Space for all of FFTH's files and media, and her title was changed to Digital Content and Marketing Director. The organization of FFTH's digital content has greatly improved since that time and it is now easier for the board and volunteers to access any content they need for the success of FFTH's mission.
As a long-time Knox County resident, Olivia is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and Knox County Career Center. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies and a Master's in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene Univeristy. Over the last several years, Olivia has volunteered with multiple organizations in Mount Vernon, including The Escape Zone, The Winter Sanctuary, and Place4Grace.
