The Knox County Taskforce for Older Adults focuses on helping seniors in whatever way they need. The Taskforce used its 2024-2025 Food For The Hungry Winter Grant to make sure seniors in need had food.

TouchPointe is a Knox County Non-Profit that assists people with relational counseling. As a Food For The Hungry 2024-2025 Winter Grant Recipient, TouchPointe is able to give food to people in need - whether it is a simple snack for someone visiting the office or filling someone's fridge for the week.

Head Start is a Knox County organization with a mission to provide child care to families in need. The 2024-2025 Winter Grant from Food For The Hungry enabled Head Start to provide a box of food to each child during one of their holiday breaks.

Gay Street United Methodist serves a Hot Meal every week for people in need in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This Hot Meal is a 2024-2025 Winter Grant Recipient of Food For The Hungry of Knox County, Ohio.

Central Christian Church has a food pantry that serves hundreds of families in Knox County each month. They are a 2024-2025 Food For The Hungry Winter Grant Recipient.

LifePoint Church's Backpacks of Hope is a 2024-2025 Food For The Hungry Winter Grant Recipient. This project gives food to Knox County students who rely on school lunches and do not have food over the weekends. The students receive bags of food on Friday to sustain them until they return to school on Monday to receive their breakfast and lunch.

Food For The Hungry supports dozens of organizations throughout Knox County, Ohio. Interchurch Social Services is one of the main partners of FFTH and this video is just one of the many stories of impact that ISS has on the community.
